![]() When I heard Bryce was open 24 hours a day, I was excited about doing some night photography from the canyon floor shooting up against the night sky. The reality was getting down into the canyon at night is not easy or safe. In addition, we were pretty spent from our day hikes. So we shot this from the rim at Inspiration Point which has a convenient parking lot about 200 metes away. It was pretty cold and breezy so when we figured out the exposure was over 22 minutes, we set the remote timer and retired to the car to wait it out. This scene dipicts the Silent City in the foreground and the Boat Mesa in the background. Posted by Gary E Campbell copyright 2005 all rights reserved | Comment (24) Category: Nature | |
