![]() In addition to hoodoos, another strange occupant of Bryce Canyon is the Bristlecone Pine, eath's oldest living inhabitant. There is one known as Methuselah in the White Mountains of California that is ovcr 4700 years old. In the background you can see almost the entire horse shoe shaped amphitheatre of Bryce Canyon. Although its still two hours before sunset, the entire western half of the canyon is already in shadow.
