Sunrise in Fairyland Canyon


When we got up to photograph the sunrise it was 28 degrees, when we finished our afternoon hike it was 84 degrees. Bryce has over 200 days a year like this where temperatures are below and above freezing and that freeze-thaw cycle is the primary source of erosion rather than running water.
